Mumbai Saga Movie Review - Action, Drama, Dialogue, Overdoses John Abraham - Emraan Hashmi's film new movie.

Mumbai Saga is an 80s story in Mumbai, where gang crime was rampant. Here the director carefully selected the plot, but showed nothing new in his treatment. It could not be cinematography, or dialogue, or action scenes.

Mumbai Saga Movie

Director- Sanjay Gupta

Artist- John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Amol Gupte, Sunil Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Rohit Roy, Prateek Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Mahesh Manjrekar

The time is coming for everyone, my time will come, sitting in a prison camp, Armatya Rao (John Abraham) tells his enemy Gaidonde (Amol Gupte). This is the story of a time when Mumbai was 'Bombay'. shopping malls, many underground gangs gathered and died in the city.Sanjay Gupta brought the story of this criminal Armatya Rao.

In the film, there is an actor inspired by Balasheb Thackeray, Bhau (Mahesh Manjrekar) who says in his meeting - "This is the city of Mumba, we are here.

Mumbai Saga Movie Story

Bombay was controlled by gangster Gaitonde. His men used to do what he wanted from the general store owners this week they wanted. No one raised their voice against the whole city. One day a 12-year-old boy, Arjun (Prateik Babbar), raised his voice in protest, but at the same time, Gaitonde men beat him to death.

As soon as Arjuna's older brother Armatya Rao (John Abraham) was informed of the incident. he retaliated with a fire of revenge that entered the criminal world without thinking.

His goal is to eliminate his archenemy, Gaitonde. This is supported by Murali Shankar (Sunil Shetty), drug dealer Nari Khan (Gulshan Grover) and Bau (Mahesh Manjrekar), a leader (inspired by Balasheb Thackeray).

Along with his three friends, Armitya will soon emerge as a new gangster from Bombay. His reign from Dadar to Byculla. But for now, the entry belongs to the inspector-general Vijay Sawarkar, who promises to end the Armatya regime.

In such a case, what is the connection between Gaitonde, Amartya, Bhau and Inspector Vijay Sawarkar, who survives and ends his reign .. The story of the film focuses on this.

Sanjay Gupta had previously given a great film like Kabil (2017), so it was expected by the Mumbai Saga. The Gangster drama in Bollywood is widely used to make a classic masala film.

Sanjay Gupta did not elaborate on this. With more than one actor, he tried to create a crime drama after Bombay’s 1980-90, where there is a lot of action, skepticism, drama and dialogue.

But one side where the film is weak is that there is nothing new in the film. No effort has been made to make the film by 2021. Not one allegation applies to this film. All scenes look old.

Who holds Main role

John Abraham has his influence on gangster character Armtya Rao. His grip is still hard on sensitive and sensitive scenes, but his action in the action scenes looks great. The scenes of the fight between John and Imran are the highlight of the film.

Emperor Hashmi, who became Inspector Vijay Savarkar, looked handsome. It would not be wrong to say that he did justice to his character.

Apart from these, the two most powerful characters in the series are Mahesh Manjrekar and Rohit Roy.

Kajal Aggarwal has only a few debates on the role of Armita Rao's wife, her character was kept very limited. Prateek Babbar is fired by his brother Armatiya.

Sunil Shetty and Gulshan Grover are among the few scenes, but their personalities leave an impression. The weakest in the film is Amol Gupte, the villain.

The music for the film is provided by Payal Dev and Jo Yo Honey Singh, both of which are standard. The songs were composed by Homi Delhiwala and Honey Singh. Ganpati's song 'Danka Baja' creates a positive atmosphere, but it is not memorable. At the same time, the song 'Shor Machega' recorded by Honey Singh seems to be the only sound.

How good and bad

It’s great to see actors like John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sunil Shetty on screen together. But all these players in general were unable to retrieve the weak story. There have been many gangster dramas in Bollywood in the past, which were also very popular. Including films like Sanjay Gupta Kaante, Shootout in Lokhandwala.
